Uni­ons rep­res­ent­ing ship crews says the remov­al of two New Zea­l­and coastal tankers by pet­rol com­pan­ies is dis­ap­point­ing and has dam­aged New Zealand’s mari­time industry.

New Zea­l­and will then be com­pletely reli­ant on over­seas ship­ping to sup­ply our fuel – with no backup.
