132 years after women secured the right to vote in Aotearoa, we’ll be gath­er­ing again in strength and sol­i­dar­i­ty. On Sat­ur­day 20th Sep­tem­ber, there’ll be a range of actions across the coun­try.

Maritime Union Honours Merchant Navy Sacrifice

As New Zealand pre­pares to com­mem­o­rate Mer­chant Navy Day tomor­row, 3 Sep­tem­ber 2025, the Mar­itime Union of New Zealand (MUNZ) is pay­ing trib­ute to the sac­ri­fice of mer­chant sea­far­ers in times of war, while issu­ing a warn­ing about our cur­rent mar­itime vul­ner­a­bil­i­ty.
