2. Social­ist Appeal ful­ly sup­ports MUNZ in fight­ing back against casu­al­i­sa­tion of the wharfies. This is an attempt to take the indus­try back to the dark ages, where work­ers have no rights at work.

   This is with­out doubt an overt­ly polit­i­cal move orches­trat­ed by the man­age­ment to bust the union and as a way of mak­ing oth­er work­ers feel­ing frieght­ened for their jobs.

   Nat­u­ral­ly the gov­ern­ment wants to pri­va­tise the port and their prop­er­ty spec­u­la­tor rob­ber barons would dear­ly like to get their grub­by hands on the Auck­land water­front.
