Maranga Mai – Rise Up! We Need Nurses! Saturday 15 April 2023

On Saturday 15 April the Maritime Union of New Zealand will be supporting nurses and other health care workers at rallies throughout New Zealand.

Our health system is in crisis. People are not getting the health care they need due to massive shortages of nurses and other health care workers in hospitals and the community. Even worse, the nurses and health care workers we do have aren’t properly valued for the amazing work they do.

This April 15 we’re taking action. We’re calling on political parties to commit to more nurses and better pay. Come and join us at your local rally, to get us the health system we deserve.

NZNO members have solutions that will fix this crisis. This election year we need to make sure we are heard.

On Saturday 15 April we’re taking action. NZNO will be holding community rallies across Aotearoa. We’re calling on political parties to commit to more nurses and better pay. Come and join us at your local rally, to get us the health system we deserve.

The rallies will be community-friendly events.  Whanau and children are welcome!
