It is with deep sad­ness that we acknow­ledge the passing of Mur­ray Sid­away over the week­end. 

Mur­ray was a ded­ic­ated, long-stand­ing employ­ee of Centre­Port, hav­ing recently com­pleted over 40 years of ser­vice.  He was an exper­i­enced Crane Oper­at­or, Straddle Driver & Ves­sel Plan­ner, a loy­al Uni­on Del­eg­ate, as well as a train­er and ment­or to many at Centre­Port.      

Murray’s passing was unex­pec­ted, and we are all reel­ing from this loss. We will feel his absence greatly. 

Our thoughts are with Murray’s fam­ily at this time. They have asked that we pass on the below details to you, and to let you know that you are wel­come to attend.

• Thursday 31 Octo­ber (after 1700hrs)
  • Poro­poroaki (to cel­eb­rate his life/ share some yarns and stor­ies with the fam­ily)

  • Please note that fol­low­ing the funer­al, the buri­al has been reserved for fam­ily only and as such, Murray’s fam­ily have asked for this to be respec­ted.
