Vale Peter Conway, a friend of workers

The Mar­itime Union of New Zealand pass­es its sol­i­dar­i­ty and con­do­lences to the fam­i­ly and friends of Peter Con­way, who died on 9 June 2015.

Peter was a long stand­ing advo­cate for work­ers, most promi­nent­ly dur­ing his time as CTU Sec­re­tary, and was a good friend to the Mar­itime Union and its mem­bers. We note his pass­ing with sad­ness and remem­ber his sig­nif­i­cant con­tri­bu­tion to New Zealand work­ing peo­ple.
