The Mari­time Uni­on of New Zea­l­and says the intro­duc­tion of self-driv­ing trucks at Port of Napi­er is a risky move, cit­ing the dis­astrous con­sequences of the Ports of Auck­land (POAL) auto­ma­tion pro­ject as a cau­tion­ary tale for the industry.
