Maritime Union National President Garry Parsloe says a stopwork meeting of members held early this morning (Wednesday 18 February) unanimously voted in favour of the new collective employment agreement.

He says the agreement will be signed off with the employer shortly.

Mr Parsloe says the new agreement is a positive step for workers at the Ports of Auckland and it should ensure the continued success of the port going forward.
